Organizer 2 is now available!

Organizer 2, the first upgrade for six years of the key RISC OS programme, is now available to existing and new users. It contains all the old features of Organizer - Calendar, Diary, Anniversaries, Address book - and in addition now has:

A completely NEW ToDo section, to map out your tasks and workload.
Export/Import in iCalendar format for easy exchange of Diary information with other programmes and platforms.
A crisper new look as an optional replacement to the familiar "Filofax" look.
Diary can now show sunrise, sunset and moon phases.
Many other small improvements and bug fixes.
Updated manuals now available in StrongHelp, PDF, HTML and Writer format.

Organizer 2 is available now at £15 to Registered users and £20 to new users.

What is Organizer?

Organizer is a desktop personal information manager for the RISC OS operating system, which runs on all versions of the operating system (Risc OS 3 and above), on native ARM-based systems or under emulation. It contains all the main features of an Organiser - Calendar, Diary, Anniversaries, Address book, plus Notes and Journal facilities - within a simple, user-friendly graphical interface. To see what it looks like, see the screen-shots. Originally developed by Chris Morison, it is now developed by North One Communications Ltd.

The main features include:

Iconbar clock: analogue, digital, free memory display
Quick loading, can load data in background for fast boot up
Memory conservative (400k without data)
Automatic Daylight Saving Time switching, it even knows the dates

Hotlinks to Web-browsers and Mailers
CSV import/export of Addresses from/to other databases
Import of !Alarm files
Interactive help, plus StrongHelp and HTMLHelp

And now with v2:

A fully featured ToDo section
iCalendar Import/Export to exchange Diary data with programmes such as Google Calendar, Mozilla Sunbird and MS Outlook
Optional styles for the main Organizer window
Many other small improvements and bug fixes.

How to get Organizer

There are two versions of Organizer currently available:

Version 1.31 is shareware so you can simply download it (129k) to try out the basic programme. (It's also needed to
upgrade to Organizer 2 from versions earlier than v1.31.)
